We’re back running and walking together again! And, we’re so happy about it. At the moment, to come out with us, you need to be a signed-up member of the club. If you’d like to join so you can come out with us you’ll find the membership form further down the page. The Huffers Committee
If you’ve never run before, you’ve tried to run but never quite got going, you’re a regular jogger who fancies some company, or you would like to keep your fitness up through walking, then we’re the group for you!
We’re all ages and all shapes and all sizes. No matter how unfit you feel that you are, come and give it a go. We’re firm believers that with the right support, anyone can learn to run….. we know because most of us couldn’t run for more than a minute when we started!
On Mondays at 6.30 pm we have an easy paced two mile run, ideal for anyone who wants to ease back into running, as well as longer three and four mile runs.
Our Club night is on Wednesday, also at 6:30pm, when we run two or three miles.
There’s an informal Saturday morning run (two to eight miles) at 8.30am.
All sessions start from Thackeray’s Lane Park next to the Vale pub in Woodthorpe.
New members are always welcome. Why not come along and join us for a run before deciding if the Huffers are for you?
